British Airways new summer service between Edinburgh and the popular Balearic island of Majorca has taken off.
The route, linking Edinburgh with the Majorcan capital of Palma, will run every Friday during the summer until 22 September.

Hand baggage fares on the route, which start at only £49 each way, can be booked on
British Airways currently operates up to 11 return flights a day between Edinburgh and London City Airport, up to 11 daily return services to Heathrow and up to four to Gatwick.

The Edinburgh – Palma service will be operated by modern Embraer 190 aircraft, with EuroTraveller and Club Europe cabins of two abreast, giving every passenger either an aisle or window seat.
EuroTraveller customers benefit from allocated seats, a generous hand baggage allowance and loyalty points that can be used to buy food and drink on board the flights or on other trips.

Club Europe and eligible executive club customers will also be able to use British Airways Terraces Lounge at Edinburgh Airport.
Club customers also receive complimentary food and drink on board, a generous free baggage allowance and free seat selection and on-line check in.
