Thai Airways introduced the Airbus A350 onto its non-stop, double-daily London to Bangkok route.

The new aircraft replaced the B777 THAI previously used for its overnight TG917 service and works alongside the A380 the airline has used for its TG911 daytime departure from Heathrow’s Terminal 2 since 2015.

Carrying a total of 321 passengers in two classes – 32 in Royal Silk Class and 289 in Economy Class – Royal Silk Class customers will enjoy 21-inch wide seats that recline a full 180 degrees, greater personal space, extra-large overhead lockers, fast wi-fi and a 16-inch personal touchscreen.

Economy Class passengers will enjoy 18-inch wide seats, wi-fi and smartphone connectivity and an 11-inch screen featuring movies, games and music.
