Newmarket Holidays and river cruise operator A-Rosa have announced a new partnership, which will see Newmarket dedicate its entire 2019 river cruise programme to A-Rosa products.

Allowing the operator to offer a more premium level of river cruising to both agents and customers alike, a stand-alone 92-page brochure has been created. In total, 64 departures on 16 itineraries are featured, including ten departures that target multi-generational customers and a selection of festive season cruises.

Newmarket has been successfully offering traditional river cruising on Europe’s waterways for over a decade and has recently become a member of the CLIA executive partner programme in advance of the initiative. For 2019, the operator will replace its existing portfolio with all six of A-Rosa’s international ships, sailing on five popular European rivers, the Rhine, Danube, Rhône, Saône and Seine.

To assist agents, who will be able to book A-Rosa cruises online, an extensive programme of agent activity is planned both during the launch and going forward. A ‘How to Sell’ guide is being distributed to agents, backed up with in store training and dedicated Newmarket online training modules. In addition, new incentives, competitions, fam trips and other marketing activity are already being planned.
