British Airways is to launch a new route between Edinburgh and Florence as the airline gears up for one of its busiest summers ever in Scotland.

The new route means that there will be an additional 7,000 British Airways seats at Edinburgh on the summer only schedule – more than double the number in 2017.

In addition to the new route, the airline will again operate its weekly summer service between the city to Palma, which was introduced last year.

Both return services will operate on Saturdays throughout the summer until the beginning of October.
