Glasgow Airport’s £1.6m Lomond Lounge has welcomed its first passengers.

The facility lounge is based airside in the departures area and will operate between 0500 and 2100.

This is the fourth lounge facility to be based at Glasgow – the most of any Scottish airport. Emirates and British Airways both have their own separate facilities at Glasgow while the airport has operated its own UpperDeck lounge for a number of years.

With a capacity of 100 covers, the Lomond Lounge offers a selection of a la carte breakfast, lunch and dining options featuring Scottish produce freshly prepared by local chefs.

Lomond Lounge entry will cost £40 and can be booked in advance.
